The City Head owns the city end-to-end — team, performance, commercial outcomes, and issue resolution.
Core responsibilities
- Team formation and management: build, lead, and manage a high-performing operations team. Ensure disciplined staffing, onboarding, and training across the team.
- Market knowledge: develop and maintain a deep understanding of local market dynamics, including industry trends, rider behavior, and competitive movement.
- Competitor analysis: track and analyze competitor strategies, pricing, and operations. Identify gaps and opportunities to stay competitive, and translate them into action.
- Client requirement understanding: develop a clear view of client expectations and service requirements. Identify service delivery gaps and drive improvements.
- Business development: identify and drive new business opportunities. Support expansion into new areas, new clients, and new service lines as the city matures.
- Team performance monitoring: monitor team performance against client requirements and KPIs. Provide structured feedback and drive performance improvements.
- Daily metrics tracking: track and analyze daily operational metrics — productivity, efficiency, and utilization — and ensure targets are met consistently.
- Issue management and resolution: identify and close operational issues across operations, fleet, and on-ground execution. Ensure quick escalation and closure of critical issues.
