Job Description: IoT Junior Engineer - Hub

As an IoT Junior Engineer - Hub at Zypp Electric, you'll ensure the quality of IoT hardware components for our electric vehicle fleet. Responsibilities:

  • Execute Test Plans: Implement test plans for IoT hardware components, ensuring adherence to established protocols and procedures.
  • Setup Test Environments: Configure and set up test environments and equipment required for IoT hardware testing.
  • Analyze Test Data: Collect, analyze, and interpret test data to evaluate the performance and functionality of IoT hardware components. Document test results accurately.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, product development, and quality assurance to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Engage in Learning: Continuously learn and actively engage in IoT technology and testing processes to enhance skills and contribute effectively to project objectives.


Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Diploma/B.Tech Degree in Electrical Engineering (EE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (ETC), or a related field.
  • Basic Understanding of IoT: Familiarity with IoT concepts and technologies, with a keen interest in expanding knowledge in this area.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and analytical skills to identify and address issues during testing processes.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Coursework or Projects: Completion of coursework or projects related to IoT or hardware testing, demonstrating practical knowledge in the field.
  • Testing Tools: Familiarity with testing tools and equipment commonly used in IoT hardware testing.


Additional Responsibility: Train the Ground Team

  • Conduct Training Sessions: Lead training sessions for the ground team on IoT device testing procedures, protocols, and best practices.
  • Guide Troubleshooting: Provide guidance and support for troubleshooting and issue resolution related to IoT device testing.
  • Collaboration with Team Leads: Collaborate with team leads to ensure the ground team is proficient in testing protocols and processes.
