**Job Description: Three-Wheeler Electric Service Manager**
**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Service Manager to lead and oversee our electric three-wheeler service department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electric vehicle (EV) maintenance and repair, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for sustainable transportation solutions. The Service Manager will be responsible for managing a team of technicians, ensuring the timely and efficient servicing of electric three-wheelers, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Team Management:**
- Lead, train, and supervise a team of technicians responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electric three-wheelers.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, learning, and professional development.
- Schedule and assign tasks to technicians to ensure optimal efficiency and service quality.
2. **Technical Oversight:**
- Oversee all aspects of electric three-wheeler maintenance and repair activities, ensuring compliance with manufacturer guidelines and industry standards.
- Provide technical guidance and expertise to technicians during complex repairs or troubleshooting scenarios.
- Stay updated on the latest EV technology advancements and service techniques to enhance the team's skills.
3. **Service Operations:**
- Plan, organize, and prioritize service appointments to meet customer demands and minimize vehicle downtime.
- Monitor and manage the workflow in the service department, ensuring timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Coordinate with parts and inventory management to ensure the availability of necessary components for repairs.
4. **Quality Control:**
- Implement and uphold rigorous quality control standards to ensure all serviced vehicles meet or exceed performance expectations.
- Conduct regular inspections of completed work to verify its quality and accuracy.
5. **Reporting and Documentation:**
- Maintain accurate records of service and repair activities, including customer interactions, vehicle details, and parts used.
- Generate reports on service department performance, key metrics, and technician productivity.
6. **Stakeholder Management:**
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and procurement, to ensure smooth service operations and alignment with overall business objectives.
- Liaise with external partners, suppliers, and vendors to optimize the availability of parts and resources required for efficient service delivery.
**Qualifications:**
- A bachelor's degree in Automotive Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience (4-5 years) in vehicle maintenance, repair, or a similar role. Candidates with experience in electric vehicles will be given preference
- Strong team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- In-depth knowledge of electric vehicle systems, components, and diagnostics.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for customer interactions.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, software, and related equipment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Prior experience in a service management role is a plus.
